About Us
I'm an Asian American mom with a tech-savvy husband, who helped me to create this website in March of 2008.
We like to talk about Asian language schools, Asian restaurants, Asian grocery stores, Asian movies, Asian writers, Asian novelty items, and Asian children's books & DVDs.
We think it's cool to show basic Mandarin characters for those who are interested in learning a little Chinese.
We interview our mom friends to describe what they do day-to-day to bring fun and meaning to their lives.
We also like to review parenting books and discuss parenting issues.
Basically, we think it's fun to share ideas and to connect with others in the Asian American community and beyond.
We would love to hear your comments and suggestions. Thanks for visiting!

Yes, I've seen "Raise the Red Lantern." I thought it was really good. I wrote about it in the past in Our Favorite Asian Films.
have you seen rise of the red lantern? i think that is the right english translation... with Gon Li in there.
If only I had room to decorate in my small and cluttered apartment.
We saw this at the theater twice. Loved it better than the first one.
