McDonald's Myinspirasian.com

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

I recently found out about Myinspirasian.com from 8Asians.com.  This website was created by McDonald's to reach out to Asian Americans.

The home page advertises McCafe and gives an overview of the content in the site.  The "APA Cultures" page recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of the Asian Pacific American community.  "In Your Community" has links to College Workshops and lists McDonald's Family Pavilion events.  There's also a page called "Asian Phrases Challenge," which teaches you how to speak certain phrases in Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino Taglish, Indian Hinglish, or Korean.  "Opportunities For Achievements" describes employment, scholarship, and franchising options.  You can also convert the text of the entire website into Chinese or Korean.  Pretty cool!
