I saw these cute gohgirl T-shirts featured on ohmysocute.com.  These characters are futuristic secret agents with strange and powerful gifts.  They are deployed around the world.

Beijing throws spicy vegetable dumplings at you, allowing MSG to seep into your bloodstream and make you feel sleepy.  Changsha fires chili sauce at you, to make you slip and fall.  How cute is that?

You can make your own fabulous Chinese dragon at home thanks to the paper craft section at Canon.  Simply print out the pages on matte photo paper, and put it together with scissors and glue.  How cool is that?

In Chicago, the Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown will be on Sunday, February 1, 2009.  Activities will begin at 11:30 am, and the parade, with marching bands, floats, lion teams, and a 100' Mystical Dragon, starts at 1 pm on Wentworth, from 24th St to Cermak Rd.  Go check it out!

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Chinese New Year in Chicago?  Go to Chinese New Year at Navy Pier to check out their free event.  It's Saturday, January 24, 2009, from 12 pm to 5:30 pm at the Crystal Gardens.  You can see lion dancers, choral groups, folk dancers, traditional music, puppetry, and more.
