Lunch Buddies by Bumble of Joy
Bumble of Joy is a company started by Eva and Zi, two Asian American moms. Their honeycomb store sells hairclips, pins, lunch buddies, and magnets in cute shapes, such as a heart, apple, tulip, mushroom, pear, strawberry, dinosaur, starfish, baseball, and vehicles. Asianmommy.com received a free set of lunch buddies for review.
The “Double Trouble” lunch buddies are a set of two hand-made sushi pieces with a heart on the back of each one. Lunch buddies are designed for parents to sneak into their child’s lunch box in order to surprise them with a bit of love at lunch time—what a cute concept! They are made with felt and polyfil, and come in an adorable mini paper lunch bag. Other shapes include popsicles, milk & a cookie, and a dumpling & steamed bun.
What I liked: These sushi-shaped lunch buddies are adorable, and the kids love them. I like the idea of adding an unexpected surprise at lunch time to brighten your child's day.
What could be improved: I would love to see sushi-shaped hairclips, too!
