Book Review: Baby Bargains
The book Baby Bargains by Denise & Alan Fields was a lifesaver for me when I was pregnant with my first. As a first-time parent, I was completely overwhelmed with all of the amazing and confusing baby products out there. I didn't even know what a onesie was! This book tells you which items you'll need, which items you won't need, and how much you can plan to spend. I loved it so much that I bought it for all of my newly pregnant friends.
My favorite baby product recommendation of all time? The Tiny Love Gymini--it kept my little one entertained for months!

I don't have kids yet but maybe I should pick up the book so I know what presents to buy.

I was a HUGE fan of Bridal Bargains by these same two authors!

Yes! I love Denise and Alan Fields. I also bought this and Bridal Bargains for both milestones. They have amazing tips, reviews and resources :)
Oh yes!
My mom gave me this book when I was pregnant with my first. We got a lot of use out of it, especially since we had no clue about baby gear. We'd go into a baby store with the deer in the headlights look.
agreed
A friend of my lent me that book when I was pregnant the first time as well, and it was fantastic! Brings some sanity to the world of Baby Stuff...
Awesome resource
Totally saved me time and money. I always recommend this to all first time mommies.
Gymini has a short life
I have also used my gymini a ton with two kids, but the length of time you use it is so brief (months 2-6) that I don't think people should buy it new. Borrow one and give it back! They should get passed around like maternity clothes.
