Book Review: The Cheerios Play Book

Wednesday, June 10, 2009

At our library's used book sale, my 4-year-old found an old Cheerios book that she absolutely loved.  Problem was--it was completely covered in sticky, gooey, dried-up food from its previous owner.  Normally, we love buying used books, but not that book.  Sorry, sweetie!

However, The Cheerios Play Book is a really cute, simple board book.  You open the pages and fill in the missing Cheerios to make the wheels of the car, bubbles for the fish, buttons for the bear, and glasses for the mice.  And then, you get to eat the yummy Cheerios.

Actually, since snacking is one of my preschooler's most favorite activities, it's no wonder that she loves this book so much!

Love this book too!

We have this and the Sunmaid Raisins book. Definitely something you'd want to buy new!
