Wow, I'm not a parent yet but I do think about it quite often...often, I think about the way I was raised as a Chinese American vs. the way my American friends were raised (btw, my husband is Jewish American)and how I will bring the best of both worlds.
Yes, I think this series teaches important everyday words that will be useful for kids. I like that you can choose either simplified or traditional characters.
