Our Favorite Preschool Games
Playing games together is a great way to have fun with the kids. Some families do Pizza Night & Game Night every Friday night, which I think is a great idea!
We have all of the classic games, which we enjoy--Candyland, Chutes & Ladders, Dominoes, Go Fish, the Memory Game, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and Bingo.
For some more excitement, we found some newer games to try:
Zingo (ages 4-8)
This game is a fast-paced version of Bingo. The Zinger displays 2 tiles at a time. First one to call out the name of the item on the tile wins the tile. First one to fill up their card with tiles wins the game!
Cariboo (ages 3+)
This is a cooperative game, where everyone works together to unlock the doors, collect the balls, and open the treasure chest to win the prize.
Hullabaloo (ages 4+)
In this game, the machine calls out instructions, and the players move, jump, bounce, and spin to colorful pads on the floor. Great fun!
Hisss (ages 4+)
This game uses cards to build wonderfully long and colorful snakes. The one with the most cards at the end of the game wins!
Orchard (ages 3+)
This is one of our favorites--a cooperative game, where you try to collect all of the fruit off of the trees before the raven can eat them. The kids love filling their baskets with fruit.
Princess (ages 4-7)
This is another cooperative game, where the players must work together to find ways to enter the castle and save the princess before nightfall.
Silly Faces (ages 3-8)
This colorforms game has the players compete to collect the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and hair for their faces. For extra fun, we try to play this game in Chinese. :)

hullabaloo
Hullabaloo is a fun game. It says age 4+ but a younger child can play with a little help. Very fun game! I love this review on games - always looking for something fun to do as a family.
