REI's Passport to Adventure

Wednesday, June 3, 2009

Looking for a great way for the kids to spend a summer day?  REI's Passport to Adventure, for kids ages 5-12, encourages them to have fun outdoors.

The kids fill out an Adventure Journal, documenting their hikes, bike rides, or other outdoor activities.  Then, they send in a postcard from the Journal or fill out an online form to get a certificate and a special prize:  seven-function binoculars!  Cool!

Thanks to The Q Family Adventure for letting us know about this program and for reminding us about so many others.
